My best friends mum had it done there! Her teeth were kinda off white to start with which wasnt too bad but afterwards,I needed sunglasses to look at her,lolz! Seriously,It didnt look good.Gave a really ''fake'' appearance I used a home kit 1 month ago from argos It was Rio and I bought the most expensive one(im not bragging but price and quality,y'know?) I loved it! Bit fiddly but alright to do on your own :p

I'm not looking for whitening strips or the aqua fresh whitening trays. I'm looking for something that will actually work. What should I use? I want white teeth fast, but I don't want teeth that are super extremely sensitive either.

teeth whitening (for sensitive teeth/gums)...?
Hi... I drink coffee (don't smoke) and my teeth are not as white as they once were. I want to 'whiten' them but I have a little gum recession so white strips are irritating to my gums. I know why I have recession and have discussed it with my dentist (so I am on top of prevention). Can anyone recommend anything I can use to safely whiten my teeth? Thanks! :-)

You can get a custom tray made by your dentist and use at home bleach and alternate between the bleaching gel and Fluoride to desesitize theteeth. Whitening teeth after braces?
I'm getting my braces off December 5th (about 3 weeks) and I know that they are not as shiny and white as they were when the braces went on. I wanted your opinion (from personal experience) on what whitening treatment are most easy and effective. Also, let me know some that I definitely shouldn't use if they cause sensitivity or wear off in less than a month or two. Thanks!

can i use my retainers as trays for teeth whitening?
My dentist does offer teeth whitening, but it costs $200 for the mouth trays and some bleach gel. I already have retainers that look a lot like the mouth trays, and i'm wondering if i can use these retainers instead of having to pay so much for the trays, and then just buy the bleaching gel. I have the clear plastic kind of retainer that's molded to my teeth, -- it looks like Invisalign. the retainers are pretty tight fitting though, so i don't know if there's any room for the gel in there, or if it would just get squished up into my gums. When you go to the dentist to get those fitted mouth trays made for bleaching, how tightly do they hug your teeth?

Question about this method of teeth whitening.?
So I found out some methods of teeth whitening that sound pretty good. I heard about strawberries, extra virgin olive oil and hydrogen peroxide. I'm leaning towards the peroxide. So I was wondering how do I use it. Do I miss it with my toothpaste? Put it on my toothbrush and brush with it? Swish it around in my mouth like mouthwash? Also, I was wondering when to use it. After brushing? I use Act mouthwash, do I use it before or after using that? In between brushing and the mouthwash? Because I have to wait 30 minutes to eat after using the Act. I know I make it seem complicated, but I don't want the different things to interfere with each other. Thanks so much!!

Mmk so i've used peroxide and it really works. i would just poor a little in a cup and add about half parts water then use it like mouth wash after brushing. Using act afterwords might burn though. Goood luck! it's kinda gross.

Where Can I find a home teeth whitening kit from?
Okay, so I have quit smoking and I really want my teeth to be white again. I have been looking on ebay for some home teeth whitening kits but don't want to buy from E-Bay nor do I want to pay a dentist a small fortune to do the job. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a kit that actually works? Or has someone used one that worked and that they can recommend. Whitening teeth questions?
I am getting my brces off soon and I was wondering what product is best for whitening teeth. The braces have limited my brushing and my teeth have turned yellow. My 1st question is what is the best product that will give me bright white teeth and isn't over $60, and my 2nd question is am I allowed to use whitening products right after I get them off or do I have to wait like a few weeks because my teeth will be sensitive? I personally like Crest Whitestrips (Premium Plus especially). I have used them before and they did whiten my teeth. Plus they're relatively cheap! You will be able to whiten immediately after your braces are removed. However, if your teeth are really sensitive, bleaching can make it worse. Good luck!

Teeth whitening/sensitive teeth?
My teeth hurt for a few minutes after eating ice cream, but I want to whiten them. I've tried over the counter stuff, crest white Strips, etc. and nothing. I'm willing to pay a couple hundred bucks at the dentist, but do you think this could create problems? It's not like I need to eat much, I weigh only two pounds less than Mariah Carey, and she's quite the chunkster now.

You can also make baking soda toothpaste that will help to whiten them, just mix 2 parts baking soda and 1 part water. Store it in a container where it won't dry out, and shake it before you use it. It tastes awful, but it works. Don't use it if you have any kind of permanent orthodontic work (permanent retainer or something) because it will eat away the glue.

Yes, they do. I used them before and I was a little skeptical. I think I had gotten the Crest ones that were the cheapest at the time and could tell the difference within 2days of using them. I didn't even finish the ones I had left. It was a big difference from beforehand and I would definitely recommend them.

Could I get my teeth whitened after my braces come off?
I mean in the same appointment... Like, get my braces off and then directly go to whitening my teeth. My orthodontist is my regular dentist too so do you think he could do that? Also is it common to do so after removing braces?

Yeah, if you schedule it correctly. And yes, it is normal/common. I got my teeth whitened after getting my braces off. I had them on for three years and my brushing wasn't the best, so I had some minuscule white spots, but I still got them whitened. Just think about it, once you get your braces off, you'll have perfectly straight teeth, then, if you get them whitened, you'll have perfectly straight AND white teeth. It's a really confidence booster.
