Crest whitening strips whitened a part of my gums.?

I was whitening my teeth and the strips made a part of my gums white. What do i do? Is this permanent? Will it go away?

That happened to me too; Weird huh?? But yeah it will go away, just use mouth wash and use your tooth brush and toothpaste and brush your gums, it'll take a while but it'll go away :)
