what do they do ? are you awake when they do it ? does it hurt ? im getting mine done tomorrow. also a little place under one of my bottom teeth on my guns is very delicate will this be a problem ?

It depends on what procedure you are getting. There are different ways to whiten teeth. When I had my teeth whitened I had a procedure called microabrasion. The dentist had a small tool that pretty much scrubbed off the top layer of the enamel on my front teeth. I was awake for the whole thing, and it took less than half an hour. It didn't hurt at all, though my teeth were a bit sensitive for a couple of days.
