How can I whiten my teeth without using whitening strips that will make my teeth sensitive?

I've never had white teeth and now I want that gleaming white smile that everyone will comment about! I don't want to get it professionally done and heard that whitening strips make your teeth super sensitive and I don't like that because I eat a lot of hot and cold foods. Any suggestions?

Hello...Wow..you have gotten a ton of answers, but it seems that they all ignore one simple fact..."Do It Yourself Tooth Whitening" is an attempt to alter a part of your body using chemicals that may or may not be conducive to your particular system....Most all of the ones mentioned are just fine if used in moderation...However, the smart thing would be to get a dental appointment "just for an examination" to make sure that your teeth don't have a discoloration issue that requires professional intervention...If the DDS tells you that he or she can provide you with a tooth whitening Gel or other chemical product for "home use", you then can decide to give those other products a shot on your own because the issue doesn't require a more serious procedure....Good luck and I wish you well.
