how many tooth whitening kits can you use on your teeth before causing damage?

I have a few of these tooth whitening kits, but none have managed to get my teeth the way I want them. But I'm worried that I have damaged my teeth by using several kits (albeit, not at the same time). Is there any risk in using several of these in the space of a few months, or am I worrying about nothing? Cheers
