How much does teeth whitening cost?

I've been thinking of getting my teeth whitened, how much does it cost? And for those who've had it are you happy with the results?

There are a few different options for whitening. ZOOM! is done in a one hour treatment which costs about about $300 and is not covered by insurance. You will need a comprehensive exam first to see if you are a candidate. Some people have a gray hue to their teeth, which will exclude them from doing ZOOM!. When a person is not a candidate ( which is rare ) we recommend bleaching trays which cost about 200 dollars. That is a great option, the bleach is very effective and causes minimal sensitivity. Call your DDS and let the receptionist no what you are interested in and she schedule you for a consult with the Dr. Good luck! I have never seen a patient who has weakened teeth due to bleaching. I myself, bleach my teeth and do not have weakening of teeth.
