is the baking soda and vinegar trick for whitening teeth bad for them?

baking soda and vinegar is a homemade way to whiten ur teeth but is it harm full? do u suggest something else?

Yes. Baking soda, and anything acidic, such as vinegar, lemon, orange, coffe, tea, etc. Can damage tooth enamel, causing the teeth to become weak. I would suggest to buy a special toothpaste (that contains fluoride) that can help whiten teeth. There are plenty of whitening toothpastes, but make sure they each contain fluoride! You can always go to a dentist for a teeth cleaning as well :)
