Is it bad to do it once a year at the dentist? I have had them done the last 2 summers and wanted to do it again. Is that bad?

it's not bad...but you shouldn't do it frequently...it's better to use whitening strips or whitening toothpaste...or even use baking soda on your toothbrush...that works reasonably well... i'd keep the whitening at once per year at most...it's rough and not great for your teeth...and don't forget about how much it costs...
