ok, so, to start, i SUCK at brushing my teeth. i do it frequently, but not nearly enough and my teeth are yellow. not a gross yellow, but most definitely not white. ive had braces for 2 years now. i get them off on november 17, and im scared! im worried my mom will have what they call "puzzle pieces", or whiter areas where the braces were and yellowish where i was supposed to brush. i know for a fact i need to whiten them. so, how do i do this? if i whiten them, will the yellowish turn lighter and the place where my braces were turn even brighter? do you suggest a brand to use that works? please and thank you to everyone who answers. i really appreciate it.

congrats on the braces - funny, i get them off nov. 17 too! use crest whitening strips. i dunno if theyll help the color, though.
