help on teeth whitening.?

im going to get my teeth whitened with Enlighten next month. i went to see my dentists and he never took any x-rays he just looked at my teeth. do you have to have x-rays before you get the teeth whitened with the use of the office light? also is this product good anyone had any good results? thx:D

The dentist was probably checking for anything else in your teeth, unless he was getting ready to make a mould or something i dont think the x-ray had anything to do with the whitening... But you could always ask him when you are there out of interest. If you want whiter teeth try this: * Make your own miraculous mixture * A fab DIY option to safely bleach your teeth is to mix a small amount of baking soda with a dash of lemon juice and salt, and use as toothpaste. Make sure you only use a small amount of lemon juice. Don't go overboard with the lemons though – they do contain acid which can be harmful to the enamel on your teeth. Lemons are a natural bleach and the salt will act as a stain remover. Just remember, less is definitely more then trying this!
