I want to whiten my teeth, and I was thinking about using baking soda. But i also heard that using too much can cause damage. How much should I use each time I brush my teeth?

Baking soda is an abbrasive which means it can wear away the enamel. You can buy toothpaste with whitening that does the job better. I love Crest Vivid White. It's $3 for a tube. I can tell a difference when I don't use it. Also, if you're looking for a quick fix I love the Equate Whitestrips at Wal-Mart. They come as cheap as $14. The only drawback to any of these whitening products is a little sensitivity.
