Along with using the white strips, avoid soda, coffee, and anything carbonated because these stain the teeth and prolong the whitening effect. Also avoid brushing your teeth exra super hard. These substances/method break down the enamal - the white surface of your teeth - and expose the yellow part, called dentin.
