What negative effects does hydrogen peroxide have on your teeth?

i was thinking about using it to whiten my teeth..

The hydrogen peroxide you get from the store is only something like 3% - it's good to bubble out the boogers which get stuck between your teeth. But the very last thing you need are "white" teeth. People wear out their enamel all the time trying to get their teeth too clean - and it really doesn't help. Nobody likes you anymore of your teeth are perfectly white. But if you must whiten them - go ask your dentist about it - they have ways that won't endanger the structure of your teeth. Be good to your teeth - you only get the two sets.
