Extreme pain in gums after whitening teeth?

Just finished three nights of Nite White treatment on my teeth, and my gums are hurting LIKE HELL. They're extremely sensitive; the pain is the kind you get when cold hair runs through your teeth, except it's constant. I Took 2 Advil a couple hours ago, nothing changed. 1. Is this normal? 2. How long can I expect this to last? I'm done with the treatment so I won't be adding to it.

it is normal, its the nerve damage from the peroxide. it hurts like crazy, ive been thru that many times. (im a teeth whitening junkie) haha the pain will probally settle by tommorow, stay away from hot or cold food, try room temp. itll help dull it till then! feel bettter!!
