i heard that it decays enamel and causes blotches. how long do the blotches stay? is it bad for someone young (14) to be using it please help.

i'm thirteen and I got my braces off about a week ago and i have been using Cvs Advanced whitening strips and they don't decay enamel or cause blotches and have actually worked really well for me.
