Can anyone give me the 411 on Teeth Whitening.....How long does it take? Will I be able to eat the same day? Can I smile without it being uncomfortable? I am debating on when to do it - Because my dilemma is I only have one opportunity to get it done and it happens to be on the same day as my husbands College Graduation - So of course I will be full of smiles and conversation with everyone on that day. Moreover, I need to know if this procedure will put a damper on the day of excitement or will it feel OK enough to not even worry myself over.

there are 3 options (that work) ZOOM! 1 hour whitening that you get done at the dentisits office--works 100% of time and only takes 90 monutes (4-15 min. sessions-you get a break in between) you can eat/smile/go about your day. you CANNOT smoke, fring dark liquids for at least 24 hr's. your teeth will be sensitive for about 1 day-but this goes away. this costs $400-600 You can also get trays made by your dentist which may take a few days for them to make, then you buy the gel and do the whitening yourself at home. this is more time consuming. costs about $300-500 Or you can use the crest strips-I they worked for me, and only cost $40...you dont see immediate results. takes a few days to see the differance.
