has anyone ever tried crest white strips or whitening trays? my teeth aren't that bad but i'd like them to be whiter. I was just wondering if any one has had any success with these products.

I use the Equate brand at Walmart..They work just as good as Crest, and all the other brands out there. They work fine, but they make your teeth really sensitive the entire few days/weeks that you're using them, and then a couple more days after you stop using them. But then the sensitive feeling goes right back to normal. Also, a few hours after you use them, your gums might hurt a little. But thats all totally normal. AND, when you take the strips off, your teeth will look splotchy. Like random WHITE spots here and there. Odds are, when you take off the strips and notice the spots, you will FLIP OUT and think that the strips ruined your teeth..But it's totally normal, and everyone that I've talked to that have used teeth whitening strips all flipped out too when they saw their teeth had splotches. BUT, after 30 mins to 2 hours, the spots go away. So don't panic, thinking that your teeth are ruined forever.lol It's just you teeth having a reaction to the whitening chemical. Anyway, they work...Try them.
