whitening toothpaste causing sensitivity only on bottom teeth?

I'm using Crest 3D toothpaste (have been for 3-4 days) and only on my bottom teeth am I experiencing some tingling now. Do I just stop use all together or is there something I can do to stop the bottom teeth from being sensitive?

"Using whitening gels" like carbamide peroxide gel, can cause sensitivity and yes sometimes whitening tooth pastes as well. It can also be due to hard brushing and receeding gum in combination. And the sensitivity can be upper, lower or both jaws, no different. You just happend to have the lower jaw. The cure can be like. Stop using the tooth paste, brush more gently, use flouride gels and mouth wash, use sensitive reducing toothpastes like "Sensodyne®" or Colgate Sensitive®". If it persists, visit a dentist for help. The sensitivity might remain for a long time and sometimes permanently. That is one the side effects of using whitening gels and tooth pastes.
