I was wondering if a mixture of baking soda and kydrogen peroxide works to whiten teeth. Does it? I found out about this on the internet and it had me wondering. Also, is it safe to use the peroxide/baking soda mixture in your mouth? Are there any risks?

It's perfectly safe and quite effective. It tastes bad, but as long you don't swallow, you'll be fine. Also, it might weaken the enamel a bit, so use in conjunction with a toothpaste that promotes enamel strength.
