Question about Target Brand teeth whitening strips?

so i got these target-brand teeth strips, and i read the instructions and everything, but i got a little confused. it said they dissolve after 10 minutes, but all it does is turns into sticky gel-looking stuff. I left it in for like an hour, and it all disolved completely, and there was nothing left on my teeth. . BUT, reading some questions on here, i saw that many people were asking when they should take it out of their mouth?? does this mean i have to wash my mouth out after it dissolves in 10 minutes or something?? should i not leave it on my teeth for an hour? and also, i went to brush my teeth before putting the strip on tonight and i noticed my teeth hurt a little?

The reason you should take them off after the time limit is because they don't work at all past that time. The active ingredient is usually completely used up after that time (although most units I saw last around 20 minutes) Leaving them on for 10 days would be no different than leaving them on for 10 minutes. It would be best to wash your mouth out with water after using them to get the bad taste out of your mouth but you don't have to. It is natural for your teeth to hurt a little after using them because they open up small tubules that are naturally found in your teeth that make them more sensitive to air and pressure. This is natural and should go away within a few days. Discontinue use for a few days if it hurts too bad and then start up again if you wish. Good luck!
