Does it makes them weaker by removing the top layer? Is it bad to put bleaching chemicals in your mouth where you can swallow them? It says "try not to get on lips or gums" - well i think this is impossible!

Depends on if the system has been recommended and instructed by a professional dentist or have bought the system yourself without any professional support and advice. If whitening is done by a dental professional like a dentist or dental hygeinist, it will NOT do any damge to your gum or your teeth. And you should NOT repeat it more than once every 2 years. The only side effect with whitening is sensitive teeth that will be temporary and very rare cases long term. So whitening done by a dental professional is safe!
