Well, here is my answers to your questions, 1)Yes, you are right. Some people do experience tooth sensitivity after teeth whitening. But this sensation varies between people, and if it does happen, it only last for a few days or stop once you discontinue using the whitening products . If tooth sensitivity does occur to you, change your toothpaste to sensodyne. It will keep that sensitivity down. 2)Depending on where and how you get your tooth whitened, what expectation you have when dealing with how "white" you want your teeth to be and what you are eating, the frequency for tooth whitening will varies. If you want your teeth to be super white then you might need to cut down on foods that stain (e.g. coffee, tea, etc). 3) Notice, tooth whitening only helps you remove your old extrinsic stains on your teeth. It doesn't prevent further staining on your teeth. Hence, if you don't want to redo tooth whitening again, you need to watch your stained food consumption. Aside note, hydrogen peroxide is pretty dangerous when use to mix it by yourself. I highly suggest you to either go to a dentist to get it done or buy whitening products such as whitening strips that have already pre-mixed those chemical for you.
