whitening with broken teeth?

i broke my two front teeth (completely) and had them filled. the fake part matches my teeth, which aren't yellow, but aren't as white as i'd like. my dentist told me i wouldn't be able to use home whitening methods, since my teeth would change colors but the fake part wouldn't. what can my dentist do for me to brighten my smile? also, about how much do you think it'd cost? i know dentists and insurance plans vary, but just a guess-timate. thank you!

The fillings that you had put in will not whiten. To whiten your front teeth at this point your options arent easy. You can whiten and then have the fillings changed to match the new shade of your teeth. But removing a filling that doesnt need to be is never a great idea. There is also veneers or crowns both can be pretty pricey depending on who you have do it.And the teeth are ground down for these procedures to different degrees. I am not too familiar with the new Luminers you can check into that but i dont think your going to find anything cheap.Go for a consult with a cosmetic dentist they can give you exact prices and they specialize in this area.
