Will peroxide and baking soda whiten your teeth as good as white strips?

what is the active ingredient in white strips that whiten your teeth, is it peroxide, or some other chemical?

I don't think peroxide will help, it sounds really dangerous to be putting in your mouth. But my dad told me that mixing baking soda and water to form a paste and putting it on your teeth should help whiten them. They don't whiten as good as whitening strips though, but if your teeth are already pretty white and you just want to get them a little extra white then using the baking soda and water paste will be fine. But if you want to drastically whiten them then you'll definitely want to go with the whitening strips. Hope this helps! Best wishes!
