Does Colgate whitening toothpastes work?

The one I have, claims too whiten your teeth in 14 days. Do you think it will be able to do that?

Whitening toothpastes may remove some surface stains, but don't expect WOW results. You need something that will remain in contact with your teeth longer than toothpaste. Whitening strips are a good way to start. They are cheaper than professional whitening and only cover the front 6 teeth, but they will give you some results. The best whitening is done with your dentist, either in the office or with a take home kit with custom trays.
