does peroxide actually whiten your teeth?

cause i have been doing it every night and every morning and it kinda has changed.. but i don't want to be doing it for no reason so does it actually work ? and if not do you know anything that will whiten your teeth ?
--------------------
Yes, it can. The most common method of making peroxide whiten teeth is to rinse with a mouthful of it right before brushing. Over the course of a few weeks, most people will see some results doing this. But the real question is if it's worth it. The hydrogen peroxide you buy in the store is very low strength, which while technically making it safer, it also means that if your teeth have any significant staining, they likely will not whiten as much or as quickly as you want. In addition, simply bleaching your teeth with peroxide can lead to very high teeth sensitivity and does very little to actually remove the stains. If you want to clean teeth naturally then it is a good idea to eat lot of apples. Avoid eating sweets and sugars. It is a good idea to quit smoking as it is the main cause of teeth staining. Drink plenty of water. Water is a natural cleaner of teeth. You should rinse your mouth after every meal. Regular brushing and flossing also prevent teeth decay. There is a big variety of natural teeth whiteners available in the market. But not all of them are natural as they claim to be. You should be very careful while buying dental care products.
