Is it true that baking soda whitens your teeth?

If so, how do you use it? Many thanks.

Baking soda will remove stains on your teeth, which isn't the same as whitening them. If your teeth aren't white underneath those surface stains, then they won't be white afterwards either. Just slightly wet your toothbrush and dip it the baking soda, then brush normally.
