I'm getting my braces off soon but my teeth are yellow,no matter how much time I spend on brushing them. Is there anything good that can help this? i dont really want to get them professionally whitened because it seems too extreme. Toothpastes/rinses recommendations would be great.

Do not buy whitening strips. 1) They don't cover your entire teeth. WTF? 2) They do not work. Just brushing your teeth with special whitening tooth paste won't really help. Baking soda can be harmful to your teeth as its pretty abrasive. I personally like this teeth whitening kit: http://www.amazon.com/Whitening-Bleachin… Yes, its $70, but its the best non-"professional" solution you can buy. There are ones for half the prices, but you have to cut the treys your self. With those you use a mold on your teeth and send them in. Its a pretty as far as receiving the final system. I started using them within 9 days of purchasing them on Amazon. My teeth weren't really that yellow. I just had a couple stains on my top front/center teeth and some yellowing of my back teeth. My father got his professionally whitening (500$) and mine are just as white as his. But like I said, my teeth weren't that yellow in the first place. I've had the trays for about a year. You can buy more gel for whenever you want to do touch ups. I'm not an advertiser; I'm a real buyer. These work, and much better than any crap white strip that you can get at the grocery store/drug mart.
