Very demanding question about at-home teeth whitening?

I need someone to explain the whole process of at home teeth whitening. I use opalescence and the trays. What do I do after I'm done whitening after I've taken the trays out? Do I brush my teeth, use mouthwash? Can I eat? Why are my teeth hurting? Is that normal? I'm only 13 so I'm not too good at this. If you could be as descriptive as possible, that would be so helpful.

When you are finished whitening you should at least rinse your mouth out and brushing your teeth is fine, if they still feel kinda slimy. Eating is not a problem after you whiten. If your teeth are hurting you might want to wear the trays for a shorter time period, like one hour instead of two, definitely don't wear them overnight. You should also talk to your dentist about using a lower percentage (15% vs 20%) if your teeth are really sensitive. Call your dentist and let them know that you are experiencing sensitivity they may have some more ideas for you if it's a problem.
