teeth whitening for sensitive teeth?

I have really sensitive teeth (and have been using sensitive toothpaste for the past year) but want to get them whitened before college starts in the fall. Does anyone know of any good solutions for how to do it without frying my teeth? And if I got them professionally bleached, how long do those results last for, if I continue to brush and floss regularly?

I recommend the professional bleaching. Your dentist will also look at why your teeth are so sensitive. As usual, if you drink too much coffee, sodas, tea and eat too much chocolate or heavily dyed food, your teeth will yellow a lot faster. Cigarettes will make them yellow and tar black, for sure. I recommend a teeth cleaning stick (it's very cheap) for those who are quitting smoking or want to keep their mouth occupied with something besides chewing gum. The sticks are 100% natural and have anti microbial properties. They'll clean your teeth very well.
