Hi Mike, Brushing your teeth with baking soda works. The "gritty" texture grinds down the plaque. However, people who have thin enamel report that their teeth become more sensitive after a while. Why? If you keep polishing your teeth, you have to expect a weaker teeth. The same is true with other techniques, such as drinking lemon water. I'm not even mentioning chemicals because you sound conscious about that. I'd say, if your teeth are pretty strong, try baking soda. Also get a tooth cleaning as you start your plan. And, if you're ready for a way alternative technique, consider "oil swishing", a technique whereby you swish coconut or sesame oil between your teeth every morning. (See link for reference.)
