I have normal teeth, straight and all; but now I am participating in this thingy, and everyone will have whitened teeth or veneers. I'd like to win. But my doctor told me not to whiten my teeth, as my dentin is very thin. Mine are white, but natural white, and I can't compete with others. Is there a way to apply some plastic dental things on them, or something, some cover, to make them look whiter, without actual whitening?

Gargle water w/ red dye in it, then brush your teeth right before the event. It won't stick to your teeth, but it'll make your gums and tongue more red, causing your teeth to look whiter in comparison. Whitening toothpaste sounds good too. Ask your dentist about using like Crest Whitening Strips along with an enamel-strengthening toothpaste to make up for what the strips might do.
