does anyone know of the best teeth whitening procedures out there on the market that i can request my dentist use? and, i have a basic dentist, hes an older guy, should i search for a new dentist that has up to date innovative techniques on lumineers or whitening options? im thinking my dentist is old school, he works alone with one receptionist in a small office, how do i find a qualified dentist for whitening and or lumineer procedures/veneers etc. when l look at the phone book or online all of the dentists look the same so im wondering before i waste time how do i find the right practitioner? thanks!

Any dentist can do tooth whitening. I have two procedures, the first is the take home kit which is with a tray and you place it over night for 3 nights ( makes your teeth 4 shades lighter ), the other procedure is radiant white which would be for an hour or so but it would make your teeth 11 shades lighter. In finding the right practitioner may it be a dentist or a doctor, first and for most, you should trust the practitioner, you can relate to that person and communicate to them comfortably and you are satisfied with what they do because you are confident that he has the skill to do it. No one can tell you who the right dentist is for you, you will be the one to look for them, others would refer for you to the practitioner that is right for them but you should try them first before you know and if you are not satisfied the search continues. Good Luck.
