I recently started using Crest Pearl, and on the cover, it states that it can actually cosmetically whiten teeth within 2 weeks. Is this true?

no it wont, it may removed some staining, read the packaging properly and you will find it doesn't actually claim to whiten teeth, probably just make teeth look whiter (by removing staining), you would need a product with hydrogen peroxide in to whiten teeth and it would need to remain in contact with your teeth for a number of hours per day!
