if i use hydrogen peroxide to whiten my teeth, will it hurt me, and will it relly work?

and how would i use it?
--------------------
Yes it would work, and as to it hurting you, well... it wouldn't cause permanent damage (dont swallow it)- it is the key ingredient in any tooth whitener. However, the catch is that in tooth whitener, the hydrogen peroxide is very diluted. And using tooth whiteners can cause a lot of sensitivity, as it opens up the pores on your teeth. So if you used it undiluted, it would open them way up, making your teeth be SUPER sensitive. Breathing drinking, etc, would all likely hurt. It wouldn't last forever, but I wouldn't recommend it, personally. You can dilute with something and sit there and hold it in your mouth, but you wont be able to accurately know that you are diluting enough. I would say just spend the money to do it properly.
