Teeth whitening professionally - is this treatment safe...?

This place has a reputation to protect...so i think it should be reasonably safe...? it "is a bleaching process that lightens discolorations of tooth enamel. This process uses an effective whitening foam strip retained in a Cosmetic Bright mouthpiece that is worn over the teeth for 20 minutes. The Cosmetic Bright unique mouth tray, in combination with patented foam strips and UV-Light, is simple and safe." (You actually GO into the salon to get this done, you DONT do it at home) this is the site: http://vouchers.ellarouge.com.au/?view=5… Is this any more dangerous than any other type of teeth whitening? Dont suggest home remedies, they dont work and would not last anyway.

This is perfectly safe. It is just more expensive. You do however get the same results that you would by having the dentist make you custom trays to fit your mouth and you wear at home with the bleaching gel that your dentist provides for you. This process is different than what you can purchase at any store. The concentration of bleach is higher. But the one you are asking about is safe. You may develop some sensitivity. This can happen with any bleaching product, but is more common with this type of treatment. If it happens, just use Sensodyne toothpaste for a while and it should go away.
