I've heard that the whitening strips you buy in the store make your teeth sensitive to hot/ cold food and liquids. And the bleaching kits from the dentist also make your enamel wear down? I really don't want to get dentures anytime soon (I'm only 13 and getting my braces off in January or February 2010). I need to know if I should save up for something like ZOOM or some type of other method to whiten your teeth!

I think it's the peroxide in the teeth whitening stuff that is bad for you and you definately don't want to swallow it accidentally. At your age you don't need teeth whitening yet but if you are concerned about it then stick with the whitening toothpastes on the market. They are much safer and you won't damage the enamel on your teeth
