okay so this is about my 5th day with whitening trays.. from the dentist. so it seems like i've been putting too much gel in because it overflows and burns my mouth. but a tonight i did it and a part of my gum in front of one tooth is all white and it hurts? what should i do? when will it go away? Thanks!

Your gum turned white from a reaction to the peroxide used in the whitening process. It is a common occurrance. Just simply rinse your mouth with some cool water, and it should go away in an hour or so.
