Today i went to the dentist to get my teeth whitened and i put the gel on my tray as directed and left it in for an hour as instructed by my dentist and now the part of my gums that are nearest to my teeth are really red. I called my dentist and she said if it continues for three days to go and see her. Does any on else get red gums from using teeth whiteners? Is it normal for some of your gums to get red ?

I've used Opalescence before, but my gums never became red. If you aren't experiencing pain or swelling I wouldn't be too worried. Just make sure to keep an eye on them.
