I'm self consious about my teeth.. I can't afford whitening of any kind. Is there anything I can do to whiten my teeth. The quicker the better! Please help me.

I read in Maxim a while back that you can smash up a strawberry and mix it with baking soda to kinda make a toothpaste and brush it on and leave it on for about 5 minutes, then wash off. I don't know if it really works or how many times you actually have to do it.
