Are there any homemade recipes or concoctions for whitening teeth using household ingredients?

I'd like to whiten my teeth, but don't want to use the bleach kits found in stores...does baking soda mixed with peroxide work?

yes mix peroxide and baking soda together and then brush it onto your teeth... let it sit for a few seconds and then brush it off
