I'm getting a picture taken for a newspaper (colour!) in a few days and my teeth are looking much yellower than they used to be. I want to try the bicarbonate of soda thing - is this a safe thing to do with braces on my teeth?

I wouldn't if your getting your braces off anytime soon, because you can't whiten the parts of the teeth under the braces. So you'll have half whitened and half yellow teeth if you were to get them off soon. And really, if you just want whiter teeth naturally don't drink any pop and brush your teeth after you eat or drink colored drinks. Seriously you'll see results in a day.
